WHO WE ARE

(and how it began)

About 19 years ago, I met this cute man, Darrell! (Look at us babies in that first photo!!! 😍).

I, Sandy, grew up in a BIG busy city! If you had told me back then, that we would live out west and have an acreage with chickens and ducks, I would have said you were crazy and probably laughed 🤣 ....a lot! 😅🤣

But this man 😍....he suggested we move across the country. And what did we do....drive across Canada in a tiny Civic, towing a trailer with all our belongings. We left a lot behind with family and friends. That was the beginning!

We lived in Calgary for a few years (6?!), then strathmore for 8 years, and now we have a little rural property, three beautiful kids, 2 dogs, a few cats and a whole bunch of chickens and ducks. Did I imagine this life when I met this man 19 years ago. Nope!! But I wouldn't change it for anything!
